MX26-ISO-Persistance-On-Fresh-Boot

Usage on Fresh Boot
When you boot into a fresh live ISO session, load your aliases in one second by running:

Bash
source /run/media/garyrust/Disk-Drives-VM/.bashrc_nvme
After that, simply type:

Bash
rdocker
The script will mount your NVMe partition, write the passwordless sudo permissions, link your autostart file, and bring Portainer up automatically.

  1. Safely Reboot the System
Run this command to flush disk writes, safely stop containers, and restart:Bashsudo reboot
  2. Test rdocker in the New Live Session
Once the system boots back into the live desktop:

1.Open Terminal and Source NVMe Aliases:

10 seconds.

Open your terminal app and load your persistent shell definitions from your NVMe drive:

Bash
source /run/media/garyrust/Disk-Drives-VM/.bashrc_nvme

Verification: Run type rdocker — it will return rdocker is aliased to
'/run/media/garyrust/Disk-Drives-VM/restore-docker'.

2.Execute the Restoration Shortcut:

15 seconds.

Run your single-word shortcut:

Bash
rdocker

Verification: The script will mount your NVMe partition, write the passwordless sudo entry, copy the autostart launcher, and output portainer when starting the container.

3.Verify Portainer Status:

10 seconds.

Confirm that Docker and Portainer are up and running:

Bash
sudo docker ps

Verification: portainer/portainer-ce:latest will show a status of Up on ports 9000 and 9443. Open http://localhost:9000 in Vivaldi to access your dashboard.
